Where are you based and how is it shaping you?
I’m in transition – moving from London to Bristol. I was brought up in the English countryside outside of Bath so spend a lot of time outside picking and wanted for a slightly more rural life.
One sentence that describes something you saw or did today?
I got back late last night from a five day flower show in London so today is definitely a day off. I had sweet corn fritters and poached eggs for brunch and now sorting through all the items I was tempted by at the show. I’m also trying to find my boyfriend and I a little house to live in that’s not in magnolia!
Which book is on your bedside table?
My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell because I miss the TV show The Durrells.
What Instagram accounts do you keep returning to?
My two great friends @jmpsmithdesign for all her flowery deliciousness and @_scarlett.l because of her beautiful style and perfectly decorated house! But also @monalogue for her beautiful images of the south west and the reassurance that Bristol is a perfect place to live.
One life lesson you have learnt?
Everything is a stepping stone – and that’s okay!
Favourite piece of art?
Oh goodness! I have two hearts for art but for giant beautiful textural paintings my cousin @maddie.rose.hills and for simple composition Joan Miro or Schiele’s lady line drawings.
What song have you got on repeat at the moment?
Beyoncé ‘Upgrade U’
One person that inspires you?
Do you have anything exciting you’re currently working on?
Next place on your travel wish list?
Northern Europe, Japan, Italy, America’s west coast, Guatemala, Bali…….
