Daily Musings #1
For the new year we have decided to set up a series of ‘Daily Musings’ which will focus on one persons observations of their day to day activities and surroundings. The posts will be small but insightful.
The first guest author is a 23 year old male from the south of England.
Walking along wet tarmac with Wellington boots. The clouds brushed together blues screened through off white wisps of fresh cold northern air.
The clouds slide forward with speed.
Talking between the three of us, the golden lab sprinting smiling up and down mud rain mud rain. The old country walls with their green fungus white stains brown purple branches soaked standing brutally like a concrete mesh. More words.
A foot into a deep puddle. The green yellow brown white water splashes up onto indigo jeans, black leggings and walking boots a few years old.
Clouds at the end of the walk turn into Turner’s paint palette. It reminds me of his painting ‘The Fighting Temeraire tugged to her last Berth to be broken up’
I try and take a picture of it, my phone runs out, I use another
For no reason why, I look up the painting when I get home, shame, it doesn’t look like how I remembered it.
